The sun was beaming in my face while I tried to capture the intricacy of this beautiful cobweb. It's not fully in focus, but I'm posting it anyway, because I'm tired of waiting for everything I make or capture to be perfect before sharing. There's a lesson in there. Somewhere.
Anyway.
I always admire my neighborhood most during the month of November. It's when the leaves really start changing and falling and when my morning walks feel the most picturesque.
I've been more intentional about appreciating every part of my life exactly the way it is, even while I strive for better. This means taking in the views I normally overlook along my normal commutes around town, being grateful for those few slow moments in the mornings after I get my boys to school/daycare, or having impromptu picnics in the back of the Subaru because there's nowhere else to sit at the park.
The simple moments are always what I remember and cherish most about different seasons of life, even the tough ones.
