I know they say "the person taking the picture matters more than the quality of the gear" (or something along those lines) but... to an extent, the camera definitely matters.
After years of waiting for Nikon to release a mirrorless alternative to my DSLR, I got fed up and made the jump to Fujifilm. LET ME JUST SAY: It was love at first snap.

Loooooove. Did you get the X-T20? I've been looking around for a smaller camera that still takes good quality photos and have been going back and forth between Fujifilm and Canon's M5 camera. Also, Raven looks so regal in those two portraits you took of her.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Raven is a surprisingly good model these days, lol.
DeleteI went with the X-T1, but I strongly considered the X-T10/20 series. The T1 had all exposure controls on the outside of the camera, so that was the deciding factor for me. Would’ve loved the X-T2, but it was outta my budget. :(
I read so many reviews/forums/blogposts on both models though, and everyone pretty much agrees the image quality is similar on all their X-series cameras, so I’d HIGHLY recommend the X-T20!! Or even the x100T since that doesn’t require interchangeable lenses.
This camera quality is amazing!
