My camera just came through the other side of open-heart surgery (it needed a new image circuit board). I got it back today, so, naturally, I took random photos to document its return.
Ouch! I know the feeling of being without a camera. For me, I noticed so many dope shots while I didn't have my camera after the flood. Now, I'm embarrassed to say that it kinda collects dust unless I'm traveling. I'm working on getting to the habit of picking up my camera more to just shoot just for the hell of it.
I was the exact same way! The minute it was gone, I wanted to take pictures of everything. My shelf felt naked without it. Now? It's just chillin' on the shelf again. I think I forgot how bulky it was when it was gone, and now that I have it back I remember why I don't grab it as often. It's time to take the plunge and invest in a mirrorless system (was trying to hold out for Nikon to release their own, but they're taking too long!).
Yay! Welcome back camera!
