I've been to Bowl Lab twice: once the day they opened, and again for lunch this week.
Opening day was a frenzy. The line was wrapped around the building and out the door, probably thanks to their BOGO specials. Those specials are now gone and so are the outrageously long lines, but the good food remains.
Each time I opted for a build-you-own bowl, with spring mix as my base and various mix-ins (spicy tuna, herb chicken, green peppers, red onions, kale, cucumber, cilantro, avocado, sunflower seeds, coconut flakes, chili flakes and a spicy sauce).
The first time it was perfect. I finished every bite and was convinced my 30 minute wait in line was worth it. This past time there was no wait, but my bowl was basically drowned in sauce so I couldn't finish the whole thing. :(
Note to self: always specify "light sauce."

whoa, what a healthy eating place! healthy eatery seems to be such a trend now since in my country, i've been seeing eateries that boast eating salad or muesli and berries, etc etc. the only downside is how expensive they are :P
ReplyDeletehealthy food options alwayyyyys cost so much more! 😩
Deleteit's a conspiracy, i'm convinced.
This is looks amazing. poke bowls are becoming the new health crave and I can see why. Definitely going to have to google some in my area and check it out.
