Day 16
This evening we stayed cozy at home, cleaned the whole house, had homemade turkey burgers & fries for dinner, lit a few festive-scented candles, and watched Home Alone under the Christmas lights.
I thought about checking out the
Lights of Life display at Life University but the mixed Yelp reviews turned me off, and the thought of sitting in traffic just to ride through a decorated campus didn't help either. My family and I did something similar a few years back in Nashville, and it was nice, but all of us had to pee so badly by the end of it since we had been sitting in the car for
so long. We felt like kids again. I'm still determined to see a play, pageant, or musical of some sort before the season ends.
