... Because the week just doesn't flow right unless there's a canine photo of some sort in this space. It's amazing how much owning a pet turns you into an animal-lover. I fawn all over every pet I see these days! Dolce (as pictured above), is a feisty little thing, but she's cute and apparently that was all she needed to find a loving home.
I'm off to a meeting in about 15 minutes, but before I go, I'm setting some goals for this week. Here they are:
- Update my music library. If anyone reading this has recommendations, I'm open to artists of various genres. Please fill me in on what all the cool kids are listening to these days.
- Take more pictures. I've been slacking in this area lately.
- Find a volunteer opportunity around Atlanta for next month.
And that's it! Here's to keeping it simple (sometimes).
keeping things simple is just best sometimes and easy to not overload yourself too. Since someone hooked me into Spotify I'm always looking for new music now that I really know how to use it but check out this one girl Niykee Heaton. She's pretty dope.
ReplyDeleteSimplicity is excellence in its purest form. Yes, owning a dog turns you into the crazy dog lady and it's pretty amazing. I miss having a canine friend around, but I'm still trying to figure out my schedule, as well as give myself enough time to heal.
ReplyDeleteI can't really think of any "new" artist to speak of. Valla usually has good suggestions. I recently got hip to Kehlani and Kali Uchis. I like them a lot ...but I've pretty much been listening to the same albums and play list in rotation lol Spotify is great for finding new music to get into.
I simply "steal" other peoples playlist on spotify. I struggle when it comes to finding new music.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the "tip." :)
